Worry not, Hair Fair 2019 has plenty of stylish gifts to chase those tangles away! This year’s fair runs through September 1st, which gives even the busiest of avatars time to pop over and revel in a bit of silky goodness.

Since not many of the shopping sims I frequent are naturist friendly, I thought it might be wise to find some clothing to go along with the new coiffures.

On a recent visit to Scandalize, I explored the other stores sharing the sim. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that three of the stores’ groups are free to join, and offer past gifts. That’s a whole lot of free outfits just waiting to happen.

The Silvana Set consists of the 3/4 sleeve tee and stretch pants pictured above. The items are separates, so can easily mix and match with your existing inventory. Best of all, the set comes with a fabulous fatpack HUD that offers solid, ombre, and patterned options. Thanks Black Opium for such a versatile gift!

FYI: The Carthage hairstyle’s out-of-box color is this lovely platinum blonde which will be lost to you once you use the included browns HUD. If you’d like to keep the blonde in your inventory for wearing, simply copy the mesh and place it in a new folder safely away from the version you intend to use the color HUD with.

Uber rounds always rock, but uber birthday rounds – well those are just super cool. Let’s talk gifts: they are free, no group join is required, run the gamut of categories, and are so plentiful you’ll need to enchant your shopping bag with a Capacious Extremis charm.

Uber’s 5th birthday round ends August 22nd, so you’ll need to get a wiggle on to partake in all this lovely uberlisciousness.

Though I always focus on apparel, there are loads of great decor and animation gifts to be had. I even managed to use a gift dance and pose in the photo shoot.

Long nail lovers are going to flip for La Baguette’s Super Long mesh nail gift. These Bento rigged beauties come with an extensive color change HUD, and are perfect for anyone wearing a gift mesh body lacking nail change options.

Here’s a closer look at Tone 2’s eyeshadow gift. It comes with appliers and a system layer for classic avatars.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year to the day since Altamura’s Tommy avatar made its allspiffy debut in Bad to the Bone. Our Tommy’s grown a little hair and gone a bit uptown since the last time we saw him, but he still cuts a fine figure. Which is precisely why I’ve chosen him to model for the second post featuring more of L’HOMME’s 5th Anniversary gifts
All of the designers featured in today’s look generously support L’HOMME’s reader group. So, if yesterday’s post didn’t inspire you to join, maybe today’s will.

I love the bold colors, and subtle accents in the Marcus Outfit from Meva. Though the outfit is sized for only two particular male mesh bodies, that does not mean other bodies with an alpha system can’t also enjoy it.

NOIR’s fantastic sunglasses are definitely a “gotta have yesterday” item. They’re unisex, cool, and come with an awesome HUD.

This month marks the 5th Anniversary of one of the grid’s most innovative fashion magazines: L’HOMME. I discovered GA.EG a year ago at eBento’s first anniversary celebration, and have been a fan ever since. These eyes are highly configurable, and are uniquely animated. If you picked up last year’s Ultimate Eye gift, you’ll still want to pick up this year’s gift, the included eye pack is new.

Surf & Sand lovers will adore this classic wrap skirt and front tied blouse ensemble from EWA Boutique. It’s one of many group gifts currently available in the store. EWA’s group is free to join, so you’re bound to leave the premises smiling.

After a day dominated by tanning lotion and coastal breezes you’ll need to pop into Alli & Ali for a quick comb out. Luckily for us, Alli & Ali’s free Easter Hunt gifts are still dotted around the store. There are 10 relatively easy to find Easter baskets filled with fun hairstyles. The Unicorn HUD V.2 is filled with so many awesome shades it was hard to pick one to model.

Sometimes finding free accessories can be a challenge. Today I decided to visit a store I haven’t been to in years: Dark Mouse. I found this sweet bow necklace gift on the main counter. It comes in 4 colors, and is free for all store shoppers – no group join required! Ramping up Dark Mouse’s freebielicious appeal are four luckyboards. For those of you with Lindens burning a hole in your virtual pockets, there are scads of cute extremely low priced (25L) items to be had.

I love hassle free shopping! Nothing tickles me more than opening a box packed with a complete outfit. Yesterday I visited The Free Dove and found the Kim outfit. Kim comes with a sexy little dress, strappy heels, and a mesh necklace. If tomato red is one of your colors, then this dress is for you!
Today’s featured hair is the Invincible functional demo from Alli & Ali. Invincible is actually a rigged mesh man’s hairstyle. The hairline has a wide widow’s peak that I chose to minimize by wearing a dark hairbase. From the front Invincible simply looks like a unisex style. However, when viewed from the back, the gap between a female’s body and the flowing hair is a dead giveaway that it was rigged for men.
That gap is not necessarily a bad thing. Rigged men’s long hairstyles offer the perfect workaround for females desirous of wearing long hair with bulky coats and hoodies. I always recommend wearing the bulking item you’d like your hair to flow over, then trying rigged male demos. This way you’re able to check if the fit will work for you without wasting your Lindens.

I almost forgot to mention that both the dress, and the heels are sized for Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and TMP mesh bodies. The heels are sized for high feet only.

Here’s a nice closeup of those feline eyes. They come with an eight color HUD. Catwa and Omega compatible head wearers can use the included appliers. Everyone else can wear the mesh eyes controlled by a color change HUD.
