I love the look of mesh avatars. Even the coolest of classic avatars can’t compete with the extreme level of detail created by all those extra vertices. Let’s face it, that perfect heart-shaped derriere will never happen on a classic avatar.

It’s hard to believe I’ve made it all the way to March without a visit to one of my favorite stores. Beautiful Dirty Rich, or B.D.R. for short, is definitely one of those stores that is always worth a visit. In their 10 plus years of business they have generously maintained a free-to-join group, and a fantastic group gift area.

Almost all of the looks featured today support mesh and classic avatars. Plus, the garments include feature rich HUDs supporting materials, show/hide options, and color pickers.

Here’s a closer look at the micro-mini. It’s so mini, finding panties to wear with it is definitely a challenge. Our model cheated and just use her alpha system.

These delisciously high though boots are a marketplace freebie from D’eVil. I’ve actually seen these boots in the marketplace and passed them by on several occasions. After convincing today’s model to try them, I’m actually sorry it took me so long to pick them up. They come with to great HUDS, one for latex and the other for leather. The HUDs include slider controls for glossiness and environment effects, plus a tint picker. Basically, you can create any color you’d like to wear making these boots a definite “must have” item.

Only 2 days left to Shop & Hop! This gift rich winter shopping event only runs through January 4th, so it’s time to get your shop on.
Our classic model, Gabby, decided pop over to Blueberry and redeem her event store credit. She chose the Minnie coat (shade pixie). Minnie is sized for mesh bodies only, so there is no alpha for classic avatars in the box. Of course, that does not mean classic avatars can’t wear this. It simply means you have to be a bit creative by borrowing alphas you already have in your inventory.
Or, you can do what Gabby did, and simply wear one of the included meshes for a curvier body type such as Venus or Hourglass. Going curvy will usually solve most fit problems. Plus, you have the added joy of going voluptuous without having to purchase the body. **WARNING – wearing curvy mesh clothing on a classic avatar is a virtual Wonder Spanx – the effect ends when the coat comes off (wink, wink).**

Today’s hair is one of several free (no group join required) gifts at Sintiklia. The way the hair flows seamlessly over the mesh hooded jacked is simply great. The Sheba hair is designed to be a hat hair, and comes with the option of making the included hat invisible so that you can wear any hat of your choosing.
Gabby decided to wear the hat from B.D.R.’s Little Diva outfit originally modeled here. Little Diva’s HUD includes a tint picker for creating infinite color choices. Gabby had no problem tinting the hat to match the shade of her coat.
I wanted to have our model pair this outfit with a nice pair of UGG styled winter boots. Unfortunately, none of our team was able to track down a current freebie. Cabal, yesterday’s model, overheard our dilemma and proceeded to bust up laughing. He just kept looking down at his boots and roaring. And, that’s when the light bulb exploded. Ladies, the Kenji boots may be in the men’s section of The Free Dove, but that doesn’t mean we can’t wear them too! Shop happy peeps!

Have you ever found an item that piques your interest, but simultaneously leaves you bewildered when trying envision how to use it? If so, welcome to our world.
Zibska’s and BMS’ Hair Fair gifts are wonderful, and just different enough it took our team a few days to create a free look we felt did them justice. We hope you enjoy it.

The bodysuit is a wearable color tester from Beautiful Dirty Rich designed to showcase their current 20 shade color palette. The tester supports Maitreya, Slink, TMP, Omega system appliers, and classic tattoo layers.
We plucked the tail out of a group gift from No Cabide. It is copy/mod so we were able to change the texture and color to match our outfit.

Our model used her mesh body and head HUDs to tint her skin green. She also turned up the shine to achieve the fantasy look. Don’t despair if you’re a classic avatar, we’ve included a marketplace link to a free tint-able body tattoo layer for you to go green too.

This fun hairstyle is the BMS Hair Fair gift. It is resizable and tint-able, however the texture color is this nice strong green so any tint added will go over green.

Just lots of great movement in this hair! Thanks BMS, we love it.

The embroidered denim jacket is a group gift at WellMade. It comes with a 3 color HUD, and sized for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP mesh bodies.
