The Alien Gizmo sim has 3 stores plus an outlet. The gift card works everywhere except in the outlet store. This gift card is by far the easiest gift card you will ever use. Anyone visiting the sim can click the display and receive a folder containing the gift card.
Simply wear the card, and click on an item you are interested in. Ignore the blue popup box, and read the hover text over the gift card. The hover text will say how much the item is, so it is easy to know if you selected an item at or below the 200L limit.
To buy the item using the card click the buy now button on the gift card located under the picture of the item near the right edge of the card. Accept the delivered item, detach the card and away you go.

Personally, I love the mesh bodies. But, I have yet to adopt a mesh head. The nice thing about not using a mesh head is that all of your fun old style skins can be worn with your mesh body.
What? Wait you say… you can’t put those old skins on your nice new mesh body unless the company makes appliers for you. Yes that is true, but you don’t need specialty appliers. Simply wear the skin with the face you like, layer on all the extra makeup you love, and then use your mesh body’s skin hud and match the body’s skin tone to your face. No one will ever know the difference.
If that sounds like something that appeals to you, then I highly recommend popping over to Mother Goose’s and picking up a bunch of the Lucky Board skins for yourself. Who knows how long these old skins will be available.

Hello Everyone and welcome to the third installment of All Spiffed Up. It has taken a bit longer to prepare this post than I expected. As always I like to challenge myself to create scenes filled with only free items. I ran headlong into trouble when I fixated on a restaurant theme. It was the food that caused all my troubles! Finding free food, not 1L food, is not the easiest task. In the end I settled on low cost full perm food items.
Once I moved past the food snafu, the rest of the scene fell into place. This scene is packed with freebies. So let’s get to it!
Meet Cindy the ringleader of Club Chihuahua. Cindy is free from head to toe literally.
Her skin and camisole top are group gifts from AlterEgo & Enertia. At the time of this post AlterEgo’s group was free to join.
The Aaisling Sunkissed skin is an exceptionally nice feature rich gift. Before I move on to the style cards, I’d be remiss if I forgot to introduce our impromptu model Gabby.
You know how Second Life is, VERY social. I always find working in Second Life to be something akin to making the bed when my cat is in the room. It’s a wacky romp filled with distractions! Partway through the photo shoot Gabby decided the sidelines were not for her, she wanted in on the fun. I took one look at her, shook my head, and uttered: “If you want in, you need to wear at least 3 free items, you’ve got 5 minutes!” Surprisingly, Gabby pulled it off in 4. Cheers to the lady with the fastest clicking fingers in town.
The first thing Gabby did was change her hair to a free one found in the inventory library. For those of us who joined Second Life before the introduction of mesh hair, clothing, bodies, etc… when we think library we think JUNK-forget about it! This cute flip suggests it’s time to change our ways. The Library is definitely worth a peruse in your spare time. Thanks for the tip Gabby.
