It’s easy to forget all about the great freebies lurking in the marketplace when running back and forth between the never ending stream of grid events. So, today I’ve put together a fun little outfit that requires only two teleports and a handful of clicks in the Second Life Marketplace.
Join the free shopping group, Fabulously Free in SL, then visit Adoness to make the Frigg hairstyle your own. The head tattoos included in this gift are for classic avatars. Our model used one of the hairbases included with her mesh head to achieve today’s look.
Next, pop over to No Cabide and join the Mesh Body Friends group to get this wonderfully showy little nothing of a dress. Catya comes in 10 fantastic shades, and is sized for Slink/Maitreya/Belleza bodies.

Today’s heels, piercings, and tattoos are great marketplace freebies. Anyone with an Omega applier compatible body can enjoy these tattoos. The heels are available for Slink and Maitreya feet.

Here’s a nice closeup of the piercings. They are mesh, copy/mod, and come in gold/silver/black. More likely than not, you’ll need to go into edit mode to fine tune the fit. Don’t forget to highlight “edit linked” to allow for easy resizing of the individual parts.

After working my way through all those wonderful Valentine’s Day chocolates, it’s time to hit the mats. Here’s a comfy little outfit that’s roomy enough to allow for a generous range of motion during those post holiday workouts.
The Sonnia Outfit is one of many group gifts currently available at LRS. One the more notable features of this outfit is the 40 color/texture HUD. Happy Friday! Just in case yesterday’s post didn’t inspire you to visit The Gacha Gardens, I thought I’d share a few more items to peak your interest. One of my favorite items I picked up is the modern yoyo from SEmotion’s stall.
Another fun item is KHD’s Urban Digital Mask. It’s the perfect accessory for when you need tunes and protection from airborne pathogens at the same time.
The last few items from the garden featured today are: eyes from Musa, lipstick from Venge, and pants from Rapture. These five plus yesterday’s outfit are a nice sampling of just a few of the gifts available.

It’s not easy finding free quality outer wear. Which is why our entire staff was so pleased to find this gem on a recent visit to Sevyn East. The set is only sized to fit Maitreya bodies. That doesn’t mean others can’t enjoy the set too as long as their body comes with an alpha system. The t-shirt and shorts are a basic style that can easily work with standard t-shirt/shorts alphas in a classic avatar’s inventory.
Hang out at Olive Hair to get this cute style from their lucky boards. No group join required.
Finish off the look with these cozy slippers from the marketplace. The are sized for Slink flat feet, but are modifiable for easy resizing in edit mode so that everyone can enjoy them.
